Washoe County Sheriff’s officers use TrakkaCam TC-300 thermal imaging surveillance camera to help apprehend impaired driver

Washoe County Sheriff’s Office RAVEN utilizes the Trakka Systems TrakkaCam TC-300 thermal imaging surveillance camera to assist WCSO patrol units in safely removing a driver under the influence off the streets and into custody.

Driving under the influence can have deadly consequences, especially for the innocent in harm’s way. Washoe County Sheriff’s Office RAVEN utilized the Trakka Systems TrakkaCam TC-300 thermal imaging  surveillance camera to assist WCSO patrol units in safely removing a driver under the influence off the streets and into custody.

The impaired driver created a trail of sparks down the highway while driving on a missing wheel. Watch as the driver finally comes to a stop; the driver can be seen waving law enforcement officers to pass. Thankfully, the driver exited the vehicle and was immediately taken into custody.

Kudos to the WCSO on apprehending the impaired driver quickly and efficiently, without injury.
